Routing: Delhi - Chail - Sangla - Chitkul - Shimla

Delhi – Chail (approx. 8 hrs drive)

Today morning our company’s representative will meet, greet and assist you. Later we will start our drive to Chail. On arrival, transfer to your pre-booked hotel / camp. Evening at leisure in the cool natural surroundings and enjoy exotic view of the world famous Himalayan peaks.

Day 02: Chail – Sangla (approx. 8 hrs drive)
Today morning post breakfast, we will proceed to our next offbeat destination Sangla through the thick woods of Narkanda and along side the River Sutlez. Arrive in the evening and check in Hotel / Camp. Evening free to enjoy the beautiful surroundings in the river valley of Baspa at a height of 9000ft. (This is one of the most beautiful valleys in the Himalayas and is often compared to the famous valley of Kashmir. Known for its rich Kinnauri culture and apple orchards, this valley was opened for tourists only in 1993 for its close proximity to the Tibetien border).

Day 03: Sangla – Chitkul (3- 4 hrs trek one side)
Today morning post breakfast, we will proceed for our trekking Chitkul.
Go through a gradual climb along the Baspa River to reach High altitude pastures of Chitkul at 10,000 – 12000 ft. Surrounded by mountains, the site is a paradise to be in and its peace and tranquility adds to its beauty.
Overnight at Alpine tents.

Day 04: Chitkul - Sangla
Today morning we will come down to Sangla at our camp in Sangla for lunch.
Go for a date with local folks in the afternoon, just spend the day fishing in Baspa River which is full of Trout or just go hiking in the forest. Just to name a few ways to spend time in this wonderful location. An occasional sight of rare musk dear is also possible for the lucky ones. You can enjoy the Bon fire at Hotel / Camp.

Day 05: Sangla – Shimla (approx. 8 hrs drive)
After breakfast say good-bye to nature camp and drive back to Shimla, the years while summer capital of British Government before the independence of India.
Enjoy the evening at ridge, a great remembrances of colonial period.
Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 06: Shimla
Full Day Sightseeing
Today morning after breakfast, we will proceed to explore the city by visiting the most interesting places of Shimla, which attracts the tourists through out the year. We will visit here The State Museum, ViceRegal Lodge, The Prospect Hill, The Jakhu temple, and Summer Hill. There are many local markets decorated with small as well as congested stalls. Shimla is perfect place in winters for Honeymooners and Lovebirds. Walking on the Ridge is the most deliberate experience for any visitor. Visitors with strong bargaining skills may also visit Lakad Bazaar of Shimla near Ridge, established on the steep hill path side market.

Day 07: Shimla – Kalka (by Toy Train)
Kalka - Delhi (by Shatabdi Train)
Today morning post early breakfast, you will be timely transferred to Shimla Railway station to board the toy train for Kalka. On arrival at Kalka Railway station transfer yourself to board the connected train for Delhi for your onward journey to next destination.
